House-hunting is going dot-com.

``We're seeing, like with anything else, that buying (with the Internet) is a matter of convenience,'' said Bob Blackman, co-owner of Blackman & DeStefano Real Estate. ``You can shop anywhere in the country at your own leisure.''

Nearly 90 percent of Americans planning to buy a home in the next year are likely to use an online real estate service and almost 80 percent may search home lists, according to a recent Online Home Survey conducted by RealEstate.com.
