NSW: Man charged with murder of children appears in court

SYDNEY, Aug 21 AAP - A 33-year-old man charged with the murder of his three children
made a brief appearance in a Sydney court today.

Steven Anthony Fraser, unemployed, appeared in Sutherland Local Court charged with
three counts of murder.

The bodies of two boys, aged five and six, and a seven-year-old girl were found in
a Caringbah unit in Sydney's south yesterday after a family member became concerned about
their welfare.

Their father was found in a distressed state in the bathroom and he was later questioned
by Miranda police for several hours before being charged late last night.
