WA: Body in river believed to be missing man

PERTH, Jan 12 AAP - A body found floating in the crocodile-infested Ord River in Western
Australia's far north was believed to be that of a missing 20-year-old local man, police
said today.

Peter Bolten has been missing since Saturday and it was earlier feared he had been
taken by a crocodile.

Acting Sergeant Mark Harring said the man's body was recovered near Kununurra at about
6pm (WST) yesterday.

DNA tests and checks of dental records would be required to confirm the man's identity.
