UN boss Ban Ki-moon to attend IOC Congress

A Danish sports official says U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon will attend next week's Olympic Congress in Copenhagen.

Niels Nygaard, the president of Denmark's national Olympic committee, says Ban will speak at the opening of the Oct. 3-5 meeting. Nygaard says Friday the Danish organizers are "proud" to welcome Ban to Copenhagen.
